About Keelrider

Formed in 2015, Keelrider has evolved into one of Iceland's most distinctive alternative metal acts. The band blends southern rock, progressive metal, and grunge into something powerful and uncompromising.

Since the 2018 debut album "North," the sound has shifted toward heavier, more progressive territory. The songs vary. Some crush with raw aggression. Others build through complex arrangements.

The band is currently recording new material that pushes further into heavier and more experimental territory.
